The Palić settlement is existing from bronze age. Palićs first mention was in 1462. in one writing document as a wold, and a gift from Hungarian king Matija Korvin to his mother. As tradition sad, the underground wather flooded the wold, and develop the lake.

Medical nature of Palić wather and mud become famous to all Europe in the XIX century, when was built spa, and today's park got formed as english gardens with paths. From 1845. when was built spa bath with wooden tubs, Palić blossomed as a famous tourist destination. In the beginning of last century, Palić got Vodotoranj, big terras, music pavilion and hotel "Jezero". These were years when town was fashionable centar like Karlovy Vary, Opatija or Sent Moric.

The lake wather has sumpor, it's alkal and 25 Celzius degrees. It consists lithium and rubidium, helpfull for reumatic and nerv sickness. Stroncium, as a content of mineral mud, helpes in bones recovery. The heeling proces in Palić includes drinking cureable wather, bathing in warmed wather and mud paneling.

Zoo Palić, is also a botanic garden, and important part of tourist attraction in Palić. This is a place for school excursion, tours and one specific school in nature.
